As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of Qatar Airways Cargo’s Operations Team in Doha as a Cargo Security Compliance Manager.

You will be responsible for ensuring the Cargo Department is fully compliant with all security requirements at both the Hub and across the network. Ensure compliance is always maintained within the Cargo network including staff, stakeholders and suppliers. Liaison with Corporate Security and set and deliver a security compliance strategy in alignment with the AOSP, QCAA and international regulators' requirements. This role will also incorporate the cargo elements for Emergency Response including plan for freighter only stations.
We need you to share your skills and fresh ideas, this includes:
- To ensure clear interpretation of new regulations or updates to existing rules/regulations/legislation. This interpretation must be aligned with Corporate Security's understanding of the requirements and then turned into workable, clearly defined practices that can be used and understood by all stakeholders in the network.
- To ensure continuous improvement is driven by ensuring all security occurrences and incidents are reported, investigated, reviewed and trend analyzed with corrective actions delivered at station, regional and global level as required.
- To ensure a maximum number of stations are made ACC3/RA3 validated to minimize the need to rescreen at the hub and ensure all paperwork, process and support functions are implemented to support these validations. In conjunction with Manager, run the RFQ process for validators.
- To ensure compliance is maintained for all TSA AP (alternative procedure) stations and to allow for new stations to be compliance, with a view to reduce re-screening requirements at the hub. To ensure the freighter network growth is assessed and made compliant for new station start-ups.
- Ensure risk assessment structure with stakeholders including the freighter team and align with Group Security requirements. Assess the security capability of GHA providers and other stakeholders for new station start-ups.
- Conduct security audit, inspection or quality control at key stations as determined by an agree audit programme or on a risk-based approach
- Manage all security occurrences and review responses before submission to Group Security. Ensure corrective actions are implemented and reviewed on all occurrences and set at station, regional or global level as required.
- Recommend best practices for safe and secure operation in accordance with airline best practices and standards.

About you
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant business or science field with a minimum of 6 years job-related experience.
- Experience in Aviation or Logistics Security, compliance field with similar accountabilities.
- Fluency in written and spoken English with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical thinking, Project Management and advanced problem-solving capabilities
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
- Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint skills
- Knowledge of Aviation Security regulations, Investigation and Risk Assessment, Dangerous goods regulations is preferred.
