Position Overview

The Leasing Director will be responsible for developing and executing leasing strategies for JMJ Group Holding's portfolio of residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties. This role focuses exclusively on the leasing process, from market analysis and tenant acquisition to lease negotiations and closures. The Leasing Director will work closely with the marketing team to promote properties and attract potential tenants, ensuring high occupancy rates and optimal rental income.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leasing Strategy Development: Formulate and implement comprehensive leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and rental income for residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning for JMJ Group's properties.
  • Tenant Acquisition: Develop and maintain relationships with potential tenants, real estate brokers, and industry contacts to ensure a steady pipeline of leasing prospects.
  • Lease Negotiation: Lead lease negotiations, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable and aligned with company objectives. Draft, review, and finalise lease agreements.
  • Property Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute effective promotional campaigns that highlight the unique features of each property and attract suitable tenants.
  • Client Management: Provide exceptional service to current and potential tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to foster positive tenant relationships.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on leasing activities, occupancy rates, market conditions, and financial performance for senior management.
  • Compliance: Ensure all leasing activities comply with local real estate laws and regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the development, finance, and property management teams to align leasing activities with overall company goals and project timelines.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in real estate (e.g., CPM, RPA) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in leasing, with a strong track record in residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties. Experience in the Qatar or GCC real estate market is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful leasing strategies.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent market research and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with tenants, brokers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in leasing management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of local real estate laws and regulations.
