  • Record and document accounting transactions in journals and accounting records, perform reconciliation entries, and prepare financial and accounting reports periodically according to the financial and accounting system.
  • Generate and document monthly reports of general expenses.
  • Prepare and review monthly and detailed trial balances.
  • Monitor expenditures through bank statements.
  • Prepare the necessary checks based on approved payment vouchers for submission to the authorized signatory.
  • Review and match payment orders according to financial policies.
  • Archive financial documents according to the financial system of the department.
  • Prepare checklists to facilitate financial review processes.
  • Handle financial reconciliations for all advances and advances accounts and monitor debit and credit balances
  • Monitor investment accounts, record expenses and revenues, and track issues and receivables.
  • Record and document accounting transactions related to reconciliations, perform reconciliation entries, and prepare financial and accounting reports periodically according to the financial and accounting system.
  • Generate monthly reports on the status of pending advances.
  • Prepare and review detailed monthly trial balances for all advances and investments.
  • Monitor and follow up on all deposits and withdrawals from all banks and ensure their financial and accounting registration.
  • Perform all financial and accounting tasks related to banks and internal and external bank transfers, manage and process bank deductions, and perform reconciliation entries of all kinds according to principles and policies.
  • Review all tasks related to employee entitlements, petty cash advances, investment balances, fixed assets, and their account balances, perform bank reconciliations, and record them financially and accounting-wise in the financial books.
  • Review and monitor and approve revenue deposits (cash, checks, visa, messages, internet).
  • Review salaries, employee entitlements, and allowances and make the necessary accounting entries.


Skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • CMA or CPA preferrable
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
