Job Summary
Job holder is responsible of Core Finance operations of CBIS entity and critical to fulfil dual control requirement for Finance accounts payable function of the CBIS entity. Maintain strong financial control environment in finance operations to mitigate financial risks and ensure all regulatory and audit requirements are met as per CB group standards.
Job holder will also be required to handle other CB Bank related work including project from time to time as advised by the manager.
Key Accountabilities
1. Responsible for carrying out accounts payable and finance operations for CBIS entity.
2. Ensure all Core CBIS finance month-end activities such as prepayments, accruals and allocations are performed for the Independent entity adhering to local, international accounting standards and QFC Regulatory requirements.
3. Responsible for maintaining accounting records in an orderly and adequate manner to fulfil regulatory (QFC/QCB) and audit requirements.
4. Fixed assets capitalization, depreciation & disposals.
5. IFRS 16 related activities for Leases.
6. Mainly Responsible for Financial controls of CBIS entity, including below:
a. Monthly proof sheet attestation
b. Intercompany account reconciliation
c. Suspense account reconciliations and follow ups
7. CBIS Invoice preparation for monthly cost recharge to CB in order to recognize the revenue
8. Monthly Financial reports - Preparation of CBIS Financials which is shared with QCB reporting team for consolidation.
9. Support other MI activities: Daily Net Liquid Capital Calculation for CBFS, Monthly and quarterly reporting to card schemes and to support reconciliation and control on acquired property income.
10. Supporting and not limited to other CB Bank related including Credit Cards, Securities Business and Assets Management related Accounting and MI activities.
