About the role:

Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Flight Operations team as a Manager IOC Network Control to be based in Doha, Qatar.

As a Manager IOC Network Control, you will be accountable to manage and evaluate operations of Qatar Airways passenger and freighter flights, to ensure schedule integrity and provide cost effective disruption management decisions to IOC team.

Specific responsibilities for the role include:

• Identify trends of irregular flight operations and recommend processes improvements to ensure an efficient and effective operation.
• Develop and maintain an effective compliance framework to ensure all task are completed in accordance with published processes.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable business and industry specific regulations, and legislative requirements, as prescribed in the IOC and Flight Operations Manual (Part A).
• Lead, manage, guide and mentor team of staff to continually monitor and manage the operations of all Qatar Airways Group flights within the IOC operations window, to ensure a safe and secure operation and provide feasible solutions to deliver brand continuity and protection, while promoting the most advantageous economic outcome.
• Collaborate and maintain strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders to ensure safe, secure and efficient operations.
• Assist in the development and testing of robust Business Continuity Plans to ensure operational disruptions are minimized and managed effectively.
• Proactively monitor and analyse all available information to pre-empt and minimize or avoid operational disruptions.

Qualifications

About you

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Relevant College or University qualifications to min Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation, Management or relevant fields.
• Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in Airline Operations Centre or relevant.
• Experience in management role in an airline operations Centre environment.
• Detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access), and IT skills.
• Good understanding of key stakeholder functions including safety, security, flight operations and finance.
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
