As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of Qatar Airways Cargo’s Network Planning Team in Doha as a Freighter Router Management Analyst.

In this role you will be responsible for steering and controlling the optimal executing of the Freighter Schedule while protecting and optimizing network profitability and network schedule integrity.

As part of your role, your additional responsibilities will include the following:

• Acquire market information from regional sales, analysis commercial contribution and propose freighter schedule changes to stations and revenue management
• Optimize freighter network by planning for charter opportunities, while ensuring overall positive contribution of the scenario and the operational implementations of charter.
• Coordinate with wet lease aircraft companies on schedule changes requirements for upgrade / downgrade / cancellations.
• Monitor freighter flight profitability and performance through station forecasts and daily sales steering reports, ensuring positive contributions for all flights departing within D-72 hour window.
• Liaise with IOC team to recover operational disruptions in order to maintain freighter schedule integrity.
• Review post flight performance and profitability, provide root cause analysis if consistent trend of poor flight performance is observed

Qualifications

About you

• At least 3 years of job-related experience and a Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
• Experience in short term scheduling.
• Excellent analysis, judgement and decision making skills.  
• Experience in short term commercial steering
