• Assist in managing financial operations and accounting processes.
• Manage and reconcile accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Manage expenditures and reconciliation of payable accounts in accordance with company’s policies and procedures.
• Effective role in preparing financial statements, regulatory reports, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and GL accounts reconciliation.
• Effective role in preparation of Financial Statements and its related disclosures.
• Monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions and maintain regular reconciliations of payable accounts.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Effective role in preparation of annual budgeting and planning process, administe and review various departments plans and budgets.
• Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Maintain up-to-date account analysis and reconciliation of accounts.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of reports and statistics requested for Qatar Central Bank, parent company and any other regulatory authority.
• Support the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
• Provide guidance to the accounting team and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Contribute to financial analysis and forecasting activities.

Skills

Requirements and Skills

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 10+ years’ experience of financial service in accounting, audit or related finance roles.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and local jurisdiction requirements.
• CPA / CA / ACCA or equivalent qualifications.
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
