  • Quickly responding to medical emergencies and providing appropriate first aid and CPR.
  • Conducting routine inspections and maintenance tasks to identify and correct any potential hazards in the pool and beach areas.

Skills

  • Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous activities such as swimming, pulling people from the water, and administering first aid.
  • Must be certified in first aid, CPR, and lifeguarding, and maintain up-to-date certifications.
  • Must be able to provide clear and concise instructions to visitors, colleagues, and supervisors during both routine activities and emergencies.
  • Must be knowledgeable about water safety and be able to recognize signs of distress or danger in the water.
