Responsibilities Mission: Brief responsibility of the role includes implementation of Financial Institutions & Sovereign’s strategy in KSA, through growth of client revenues, client interactions at different levels, management of client relationships, origination and development of SG’s products & services, support in negotiating and executing transactions, and work in close coordination with business lines internally across Société Générale Group. Tasks and responsibilities: Lead Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA) Staff for selected Financial Institution & Sovereign clients in KSA such as : Gaining client trust and ensure SG provides the best possible services & solutions to clients, within risk policies as well as SG scarce resources parameters Managing closely all risks aspects Supporting the Business Lines on Credit and Risk related issues by being perfectly capable to handle and articulate complex risk-return assessments of both the overall Client profile and of every specific deal Developing transversal businesses and cross-selling activities across the SG group Coordinating action around main GLBA FIG & SOV clients with BL colleagues, with a Global Markets (MARK) and Debt Capital Markets (DCM) focus Enhancing SG institutional profile by organizing/participating in strategic events Maintaining a senior level of dialogue within targeted clients, in a team work effort along with relevant Senior Bankers who are more closely focusing on Investment Banking (IB mandates), when applicable In addition, to implement the Société Générale Group policies and procedures locally by containing compliance risk in liaise with the KSA Compliance Officer- and adhering to the CMA Core Principles as detailed in CMA GEN Section 4 Profile required At least bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, management, or other relevant qualifications More than 15 years of banking experience Experience in marketing, relationship management and client management in Saudi Arabia Specific knowledge/experience in Islamic finance will be a plus Language skills: Fluency in English Arabic would be a plus Technical, operational & Soft skills: Product knowledge and in-depth market know-how of financial markets and well-established network of Financial Institutions relationships covering local FIs, Central Bank, Sovereign & Insurance companies Strong knowledge of the KSA market, and as a plus in GCC countries Extensive banking rading and financial institutions experience and knowledge of credit
