Inventory Specialist: Operations – Qatar
CLIENT
Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in Qatar. They are seeking an Inventory Specialist with a background in Operations to join their team in Qatar.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Tracking, organising, and maintaining inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of parts and products needed for daily operations
• Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders with suppliers to replenish stock as needed, and ensure the right parts are available when required
• Analysing inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimise stock levels to minimise excess inventory and reduce costs
• Inspecting incoming inventory for quality control, and ensuring that all parts and products meet the required standards
• Maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments, using inventory management software or manual systems
• Conducting regular audits to identify any discrepancies or losses
PROFILE
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business or similar
• Around 5-8 years’ experience in managing the inventory of automotive parts, components and/or vehicles within a dealership, repair shop, or manufacturing facility
• Working knowledge of inventory management software
• Familiarity with working in the Middle East and/or international companies
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
