  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies, food products, ingredients, packaging etc.

  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)

  • Maintain an ongoing service standard at all times, respecting the recipes, presentation, portioning, cooking time, cooking temperatures and techniques.

  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

  • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions

  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food

  • Stock inventory appropriately

  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion

  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

  • Takes care of the shape, presentation, cleanliness and refill of the banquet’s buffets

  • Correctly fill all ISO22000 documentation needed for the station/section the employee is responsible for. E.g. (“production sheet”, “cooking, baking and reheating”, “Freezer or chiller temperature” …).

  • Adhere and follow all personal hygiene and food safety practices according to HACCP training or ISO22000 standard.
