We are seeking, on behalf of our client, a professional Government Relations Officer. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year of experience working at an embassy or diplomatic mission and be capable of managing the following responsibilities:
- Clerical assistance, typing and proof reading official correspondence, and delivery of notes as required;
- Deliver and pick-up of Notes Verbales and official documents from/to local authorities, embassies and international organizations;
- Assist with the procedure of requesting and issuing Civil ID's, Driving Licence, Insurance, etc.;
- Assist in the procurement of office supplies if needed and other similar small tasks required by the Contracting Authority.
- Pick up of orders and purchased supplies given the fact that it was officially order by a staff member of the Contracting Authority;
- Mastering Arabic and English languages in oral and written communication - proficiency C1;
- The Contractor shall use his own means of transportation to perform the required services/tasks;
- The Contractor shall perform all the tasks assigned to him during the Contracting Authority's working hours, from 08:30 until 16:30 Sunday to Thursday;
- The Contractor may be required to work during weekends and outside normal working hours for additional charges;
- The Contractor shall also perform driving duties for Staff Members and official delegations.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, including at least one year at an embassy or diplomatic mission.
- Valid Qatari driving license.
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages.
