MIEC Lead

  1. Job Specification & Key Accountabilities (Duties include but not limited to):Ensure proper preparation and execution of the MIE Project and handover to the FOPS department.
  2. Follow up on Maintenance Engineering activities as per the Maintenance & Inspection Engineering Contract (MIEC).
  3. Ensure MIEC activities comply with CLIENT specifications, standards, and local legislation.
  4. Guarantee all maintainable and inspectable equipment are properly addressed.
  5. Oversee selection, supply chain, and inspection of Project operating spare parts and specific tools.
  6. Ensure Project CMIMS templates are uploaded for platforms' First Oil.
  7. Guarantee relevant spare parts are available in the warehouse for platforms' First Oil.
  8. Coordinate Project MIEC activities with MIE Contractor, CLIENT Maintenance Department, and Head of Maintenance and Inspection Engineering.
  9. Act as interim Head of Maintenance and Inspection Engineering during absences.
  10. Follow up on FOPS method team clarifications for the completed MIE Project.
  11. Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and promote HSEQ awareness.
  12. Monitor work activities for safety, ensuring risks are properly identified and assessed.
  13. Prepare Scope of Work for the MIEC contract and assist with CFT preparation during Basic Engineering Phases.
  14. Review technical bids, prepare clarifications, and support cost reduction initiatives.
  15. Approve and review technical and contractual deliverables from the MIE Project Contractor.
  16. Manage Project meetings, schedules, progress, and change orders.
  17. Develop and update M&I philosophies, ensuring quality and adequacy of spare parts descriptions.
  18. Ensure mass loading of PM data into the CMIMS and contribute to the final MIE contract report.
  19. Manage Project start-up and support commissioning activities.
  20. Facilitate communication and contribute to training and new maintenance contracts as required.


Skills

  • QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering.
  • Senior Maintenance or Inspection Engineer with at least 10 years of Oil and Gas experience including Operations experiences.
  • Previous experience in the supervision of Maintenance and Inspection projects and or engineering activities is required.
  • Leadership skills and good communication skills,
  • Good analytical skills,
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
  • Experience with CMIMS,
  • Fluent in English (listening, writing and speaking) and its technical vocabulary,
  • Computer literate,
  • Available for missions as necessitated by project,
  • Medically fit to travel to Offshore Oil & Gas Platforms,
  • H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
