We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently served to our customers. You will also be responsible for managing and leading a team of chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in culinary arts and a proven track record of delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and create innovative menu items that are in line with current food trends and customer preferences.
  2. Oversee the entire food preparation process, ensuring that all dishes are cooked to perfection and presented attractively.
  3. Manage inventory and food cost control to ensure optimal profitability.
  4. Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  5. Collaborate with the restaurant manager to plan and execute special events and promotions.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and new cooking techniques, incorporating them into our menu offerings.
  7. Manage and maintain kitchen equipment and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  8. Monitor and maintain quality control of all ingredients and food products.
  9. Create and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume and high-end restaurant.
  2. Degree or certification in culinary arts or a related field.
  3. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  4. In-depth knowledge of international cuisines and techniques.
  5. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  6. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  7. Exceptional creativity and a passion for culinary arts.
  8. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  10. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
