Job Summary

Senior Officer – Medical licensing is responsible for medical licensing issuance of clinical staff and serves as a liaison between medical staff, DHP & Dataflow and EHC.

Job Responsibilities 1

Establishes and maintains application files including paper files and electronic data-entry for medical licensing processing through MoPH system for Doctors, Nurses and Allied health.

Serves as a liaison between medical staff, DHP & Dataflow and EHC.

Follows up with candidates to receive updated documents, reference, work experience, education etc. to update MoPH system with required documents.

Evaluates applications and supporting documents to determine qualification as specified by the MoPH using requirements checklists.

Prepares summary sheets and question files for MoPH with regards to submitted applications.

Maintains record and log of all communications and processing activities for medical licensing.

Job Responsibilities 2

Updates changes to medical Licensing processing process and communicates changes with stake holders.

Ensures that the records of the databases are complete, accurate and in the appropriate format.

Prepares and presents weekly reports with regards to medical licensing activities.

Ensures that confidentiality is maintained in all transactions.

Maintains a strong, continuous, and healthy relationship with MoPH in order to ease the licensing process.

Liaise with the various business units and vendors and discuss the desired workflows and the required integration interfaces for achieving them.

• Demonstrated experience in dealing with MoPH, Qatar in relation to medical licensing.Strong Knowledge of the Healthcare industry Ability to analyse data in an accurate and time efficient mannerUnderstanding of confidentiality and safeguarding proceduresExcellent Database, archiving capability and the ability to communicate efficientlyInterested in skills training and developmentGood at problem solving and multi-taskingProfessional, flexible and positiveWillingness to work as part of a teamAbility to work autonomouslyAbility to work to a very high standard.

• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

5-7 years of total work experience 

Minimum 5 years of experience in medical licensing

Minimum 2 years in GCC(preferred)
