Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tailor/Dressmaker role located in Doha. The Tailor/Dressmaker will design, cut, sew, and finish custom garments, ensuring precise measurements and high-quality construction. Daily tasks include taking client measurements, performing fittings, making alterations, and advising clients on fabric, style, and garment care. The role involves collaborating with the boutique team, maintaining a tidy workspace, and meeting production timelines. The Tailor/Dressmaker will support a positive client experience through clear communication and professional service.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Tailoring and Dressmaking, including cutting, sewing, and garment construction.
- Experience with Fitting and alterations, ensuring accurate measurements and comfortable, well-balanced garments.
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work with different fabrics and techniques.
- Prior experience in a boutique, atelier, or similar fashion environment is preferred.
- Ability to manage time effectively, follow design specifications, and work to deadlines.
- Basic pattern-making skills and familiarity with sewing machines and related equipment.
