Associates of Arts/Associates of Science Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience Required Technical Skills: Experience working with switches of interface Inter-Switch Trunks (ISTs) from DoW & commercial microwave/satellite systems, plus other equipment needed to extend voice transmissions across fiber or copper mediums. Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI Required Skills and Abilities: Makes major precision adjustments on switches, relays, and other electrical control devices for maximum operating efficiency. Preferred Skills: Verifies services by testing circuits, equipment, and alarms; and identifying, correcting, or escalating problems. Location: On Customer Site US Citizenship Required CERTIFICATIONS: Must meet the certification requirement of DoW 8570.01-M, SPIN-C, or individual task order. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Intermediate hands on work experience in support of installations, repair, and troubleshooting or maintenance of telecommunications systems or equipment. Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Intermediate experience in maintenance/troubleshooting telecommunications equipment as specified in the specified task order to include the following: Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) Equipment Raytheon secure digital switches Must have experience working with switches of interface Inter-Switch Trunks (ISTs) from DoW and commercial microwave/satellite systems and other equipment needed to extend voice transmissions across fiber or copper mediums.
