Job description
We are looking for a driven and experienced sales Engineer to join our Industrial Division in the United Arab Emirates as a Senior Technical Sales Engineer. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating at all levels of an organization — developing, defining, negotiating, and delivering technical corrosion control and asset integrity solutions tailored to each client's needs. This is a solutions-oriented role that leverages consultative selling, product demonstrations, field trials, and technical training to convert every opportunity into a measurable success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opportunity Generation & Sales Target : Generate and secure sales opportunities by promoting Cortec concrete durability and asset preservation solutions in industrial, building, and construction projects using consultative sales approach.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Manage client relationship through all phases of the sales cycle which includes, but not limited to; Review specifications, Carry out site and prepare reports; Ensure compatibility of commercial terms; Perform design work as appropriate; Prepare and follow up quotations.
- Partner Management: Liaise and coordinate with distributors’ and service providers’ sales teams on sales leads and pipeline.
- Application Supervision: Perform and supervise site engineering services, including installation, commissioning, training and maintenance and ensure company safety and quality procedures are followed.
- CRM & Pipeline Management: Track all business development activities, customer engagements, project specifications, and opportunity progress in the CRM system to ensure visibility, accuracy, and follow-up.
- Solution Expertise & Positioning: Develop a deep understanding of Cortec solutions, industry applications, and positioning strategies to effectively communicate technical and economic value to various stakeholders.
- Industry Participation & Thought Leadership: Engage with relevant professional societies by attending events, publishing technical articles, delivering presentations, and contributing to the development of industry standards.
Skills
- Industry Sales Experience: Bring 4–8 years of experience selling system solutions such as chemical inhibitors, asset integrity, or corrosion-related services to key industrial customers.
- Standards Application: Apply strong working knowledge of international standards such as NACE, AMPP, ACI, ASTM, or equivalent in day-to-day technical and commercial work.
- Distributor Coordination: Draw on a proven track record coordinating with distributors and service providers to manage shared sales leads and opportunity pipelines.
- Site Engineering Support: Apply hands-on experience supervising or performing site engineering services, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Value Communication: Communicate the technical and economic value of solutions clearly to stakeholders at various levels of an organization.
- Industry Engagement: Maintain active engagement with the industry through events, professional societies, or technical publications relevant to the field.
- Work Style: Operate comfortably both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team in a fast-paced sales environment.
