Role- Data & AI project Lead Experience - 12+ years Location- Qatar required Good GCC banking experience.
Role Overview – Data & AI Project Lead Key Responsibilities• End-to-end ownership of project delivery, including planning, execution, governance, and closure.• Manage and engage multiple stakeholders across business units, IT teams, and external partners.• Drive project governance using Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog management, and progress tracking through JIRA.• Facilitate Project Review Working Groups, ensuring timely updates, risk mitigation, and effective decision-making.• Oversee vendor coordination and ensure adherence to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.• Monitor project dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations across multiple workstreams.• Ensure successful delivery of Data, Analytics, Governance, and AI-related initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Required Skills and Experience• Minimum 12+ years of experience managing large-scale Data and AI projects, preferably within banking or financial services.• Strong technical understanding of data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and AI-driven solutions.• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and deliver programs under tight timelines.• Hands-on expertise in Agile project management, JIRA, and collaboration tools.• Strong communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.• GCC and/or Qatar banking experience is highly desirable.
Evaluation Criteria Submitted profiles will be assessed based on:• Relevance and depth of Data, Analytics, and AI project experience.• Demonstrated leadership in large-scale and complex transformation programs.• Banking / financial services domain exposure, preferably within Qatar or the GCC.• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery methodologies and JIRA.• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors effectively.• Availability to support immediate project timelines.
