ORACLE DBA-JDDescription The position holder will be responsible for Administration, Performance tuning, Capacityplanning, management for all DB systems that include Oracle e-Business Suite (ERP),Oracle Golden Gate and all other IT database systems. Duties and responsibilities Install and Upgrade Oracle database and Corresponding Application Tools. Monitor system's health and performance Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time Provide suggestions for solutions Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after working hours Requirement and experience Degree in Computer Science or Technical Related Field 6 years of experience as Oracle DBA or similar role Experience in Oracle RAC, Dataguard, RMAN,EXADATA,OGG and Engineered systems Experience in Linux/Unix Operating system. Database Systems Administration Techniques – understanding of DB Performance tuning onvarious Operating Systems, good troubleshooting skills, Database Migration techniques Attention to details and analytical thinking. Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills
