Roles & Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair complex electrical faults in mobile and crawler crane systems, including power distribution, control circuits, and safety interlocks.
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical components, such as motors, generators, and wiring, adhering to strict safety protocols and manufacturer specifications.
Inspect and test electrical systems to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, documenting all findings and repairs accurately.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other electronic control systems used in crane operations.
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to identify and rectify electrical problems efficiently.
Calibrate and adjust electrical components and sensors to optimize crane performance and ensure safe operation.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and handling of electrical tools and equipment.
Participate in training programs and stay updated on the latest electrical technologies and crane maintenance procedures.
Respond to emergency electrical breakdowns and provide timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and crane operators to ensure seamless crane operations and resolve complex issues.
Proven experience as an electrician, preferably with specific experience in crane electrical systems (mobile and crawler mandatory).
Solid understanding of electrical systems and components, including wiring, circuitry, and control systems such as Liebherr, Terex, Tadano, Demag, Sany, Zoomlion.
Experience in crane air conditioning systems and maintenance & repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and electrical controls.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations relevant to crane operations.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to electrical systems.
Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and troubleshooting techniques.

Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and repair of mobile and crawler cranes.
Holds a recognized certification in mobile and crawler crane electrical systems maintenance and repair from a reputable institution.
Holds a valid Electrical License or Certification, demonstrating a strong understanding of electrical principles.
Possesses a Diploma or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
