The Statistical Analyst supports enterprise-level quality, performance, and improvement initiatives by applying statistical analysis and data interpretation across GTA functions. The role collects and prepares datasets, performs statistical analyses, and develops analytical outputs that support performance monitoring, quality assessments, and decision-making. The Statistical Analyst contributes to KPI tracking, dashboards, and analytical reports, and provides analytical support to departments and initiatives as needed under the guidance of senior management and quality leadership.key responsibilities: Data Collection & Preparation Collect and prepare data from internal systems and approved external sources to support statistical analysis, performance monitoring, and quality initiatives. Perform data validation, cleaning, and structuring to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readiness for analysis. Statistical Analysis & Performance Support Apply statistical techniques such as descriptive analysis, trend analysis, comparisons, and basic variance analysis to support organizational performance and quality assessments. Support analysis related to operational performance, service quality, process effectiveness, and organizational indicators. KPIs, Dashboards & Analytical Outputs Contribute to the development and maintenance of KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards used to monitor performance across GTA. Prepare charts, tables, and statistical summaries for management reports, reviews, and quality assessments. Support periodic performance reporting and ad-hoc analytical requests from senior management and departments. Quality, Process & Improvement Support Support quality and development initiatives by providing statistical insights related to process performance, outcomes, and improvement opportunities. Assist in analyzing performance gaps and trends to support organizational development, process optimization, and quality enhancement efforts. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Support Provide analytical support to departments and teams by preparing data extracts, summaries, and basic analyses in response to requests. Document data requirements, assumptions, and limitations and coordinate follow-up on data gaps or quality issues where needed. Documentation & Records Management Document analytical methods, data sources, and outputs to support transparency, review, and repeatability. Maintain organized and confidential records of datasets, analyses, and reports in line with GTA data governance and confidentiality standards. Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Public Policy, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree in a related field is preferred. Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.5+ years of relevant experience in statistical analysis, data analysis, performance reporting, or quality-related analytical roles. Experience supporting KPIs, dashboards, or performance monitoring in a corporate, government, or service-oriented environment is an advantage. Ability to work with data using spreadsheets and basic statistical, analytical, or BI tools. Attention to detail in data preparation, checking, and analytical documentation. Intermediate statistical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively and follow analytical guidance from senior policy and analytical specialists.
