Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Biology Teacher at the American Academy School in Doha, Qatar. The Biology Teacher will be responsible for creating detailed lesson plans, delivering engaging and effective instruction in biology, assessing and evaluating student progress, and fostering a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Teaching strategies to deliver effective and engaging lessons. Strong foundation in Biology and a passion for educating students in the subject. Qualified Teacher status with relevant teaching certifications or credentials. Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs and styles. Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology, Education, or a related field. Prior teaching experience in an international schools. Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
