ACCOUNTABILITIES
This position contributes to the field’s ability to meet the production and injection targets by providing the right tools, methodologies, guidelines and workflows to the Well Performance Team.
This position also contributes to the long-term objectives by proposing studies and new technologies to optimize potential under future field conditions and challenges.
This position plays an important role in the technical development of the engineers ensuring dissemination of knowledge and mentoring within the team.
JOB DIMENSION
The Well Performance Methods team contributes to daily production optimization as the owner of the tools used for well monitoring, production monitoring and the GAP integrated model, ensuring they are well-maintained. The GAP integrated model is a fundamental tool within the Well Performance Team and is used for daily production optimization, well and network diagnostics, production forecast and well and facilities constraints identification.
The Well Performance Methods Team plays an important role on the present and future of the production optimization, by performing studies to improve well performance, propose new technologies and production techniques or find solutions for some problems that are affecting the wells and impacting the production. They take the lead on the new studies, projects and applications regarding wells in conjunction with other departments, shareholders and external service providers.
