Position Overview:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operational aspects of the event. This includes managing logistics, coordinating with vendors and contractors, managing ushers, security, cleaning, and catering, and ensuring that all aspects of the event run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational plans for the event, ensuring that all activities are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage logistics, including transportation, catering, crowd management, and equipment rental, to ensure all necessary resources are available for the event.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure all necessary services and equipment are in place for the event.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to during the event.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the client, suppliers, and local authorities.
- Manage event staff and volunteers, including recruitment and training, ensuring they are trained and equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Prepare and manage daily expenses for the event, ensuring that costs are controlled.
- Issue a daily report for the client.
