Role Summary
As the Manager of Partnerships and Business Development, your role is pivotal in overseeing the daily operations of the department. Specializing in cultivating and executing large-scale strategic and commercial relationships, you play a key role in positioning these partnerships with talabat’s overarching objectives, strategic goals, and established strategies.
Your primary responsibilities include proactively seeking new commercial partnerships, fostering relationships, and negotiating mutually beneficial agreements to enhance talabat's position in the market. Ensuring the optimal delivery of these agreements, you analyse performance results and implement improvements where applicable to drive continuous enhancement and success.

- Project and account management long-term regional strategic partnerships across diverse industries.
- Build in-depth knowledge to effectively the current projects by optimizing the potential industries and businesses to identify major opportunities.
- Ensure a robust account management of new potential strategic partners aligned with focus areas.
- Utilize business analytics expertise to proactively identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase revenue.
- Employ various approaches, including cold calling, networking, and pursuing warm leads, to establish enduring strategic partnerships.
- Work closely with the performance team and the regional partnership team to secure commercially viable partnerships that significantly enhance our business.
- Ensure the successful delivery of these partnerships to meet objectives.
- Orchestrate day-to-day Partnership initiatives, managing multiple projects strategically and concurrently.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, finance, legal, and marketing teams to launch and maintain partnerships.
- Ensure an impeccable end-to-end customer experience related to partnership initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to accelerate existing partnerships.
- Provide ongoing feedback to internal and external stakeholders on the partnership process and achievements.
- Ensure accuracy in all financial workstreams related to partnerships.
- Act as the go-to person for local partnership and commercial teams.
- Support and collaborate with various teams to drive the success of partnership initiatives.
What Did We Order?
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in partnerships and business development.
- Experience in sales, marketing, or a related field with a focus on developing and closing large-scale commercial deals.
- Proven multi-stakeholder project management skills with a strong track record of on-time delivery for large, cross-functional projects, preferably in mobile platforms or E-commerce domains.
- Strong analytical mindset, proficient in using data to substantiate business cases and draw strategic conclusions.
- Highly resourceful with the ability to think beyond conventional solutions.
- Demonstrates professional representation, showcasing effective communication with various external and internal stakeholders, both oral and written.
- Possesses a keen attention to detail and exhibits a results-driven personality.
