We are hiring Internal Audit Lead for our Qatar branch
Summary:
Assists in the audit planning and scheduling. Ensures the proper adherence to and implementation of the IA plan and projects work-plans. Helps in the drafting of the audit programs, undertakes audit reviews and suggests improvements to the audit process and work programs, reports to the IA superior(s) and/Director on the findings, conclusions and suggests recommended actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute in preparing the Internal Audit plan.
- Prepare the audit programs for processes, sections and functions to be audited/covered, then submit them to the direct superior for amendment if necessary.
- Execute the duties as per the agreed annual plan set by the IA director.
- Report about findings/observations and discuss them with the direct superior(s) and clears them with business owners.
- Help in concluding the audit validations and drafting the related audit recommendations.
- Follow up on the corrective instructions and audit recommendations with management and auditees
- Present and discuss overall remarks on the Internal Audit activity with the IA Director
- Coach the branch members on controls, policies, and good practices
- Attend seminars according to the annual plan of the division
- Preserve accessed confidential and sensitive information
Requirements:
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in internal audit in insurance industry is a must
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management or Auditing
- Holder of CIA, CISA, CCSA, CFE is a plus
- Qatar residency is NOT a must
- Good organizational, analytical skills, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and within established schedules
- Meticulous & Detail oriented
