Vendor Management is responsible to facilitate and maintain relationships between the organization and


vendors, negotiating contracts, creating standards for the vendors, and finding the best available vendors. Also


responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective Tendering/Contracting cycle for products and services


in a cost effective and professional manner to protect company interests. Vendor Management shall have ability


for assists, supports and actively participates in all aspects of vendor and Contract management.


Job Description


  • Coordinating with multiple vendors and internal departments to ensure smooth running of the Contracting
  • process.
  • Manage vendor activities and maintain both new and existing vendor relationships.
  • Identify suitable vendors, negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices for products and services, and
  • ensure that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations.
  • Responsible for high value & complex contracting & capital procurement of products & services.
  • Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors.
  • Reviews, negotiates and drafts contracts with internal departments and/ or vendors for the provision of
  • products and/or Services.
  • Drafts and/ or reviews and communicates exceptions to tender documents and RFQ´s.
  • Develops contracts under supervision and ensures compliance with the procedures.
  • Conducting research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product
  • quality.
  • Ensure that the enquiry/tender/contracts documentation is prepared in accordance with the approved
  • contracting/tendering strategies.
  • Acts as a contact between the contractor and Company’s internal departments and is responsible for
  • following the market development and to propose alternative sources of supply in addition to follow up
  • with contractors and development of the supplier relationship.
  • Implementing vendor selection programs to ensure that the best vendors are selected.
  • Participates in the development of the operating instructions required to implement the contracting &
  • procurement policies and procedures.
  • Evaluating current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them.
  • Strong Market Analysis and perform maximum effort in negotiation with vendors.
  • Collaborates with the Legal Department, as appropriate to ensure contractual risks are clearly identified and
  • properly addressed in contractual provisions.
  • Strong Knowledge of contracting philosophy, contract drafting, tender process, negotiation, contract
  • management/implementation, contract amendment, financial tracking/monitoring.
  • Demonstrate the highest standard of integrity and ethical conduct in all business dealings.


Requirements


  • Bachelors’ Degree in a relevant discipline.Proven successful relevant experience in similar role, in a related industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of national contract law & solid legal knowledge.
  • Good negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong negotiation, management, and decision-making skills.
  • Handling conflicts and dispute resolution.
  • Ability to work in a pressurized environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to plan, organize, problem solve and manage initiatives
  • independently.
  • Basic knowledge of IT related technology solutions & best practices.
  • Excellent sharing knowledge and encouraging development of others to
  • achieve specific team goals.
  • English language skills (reading, speaking, writing, and listening).
