To actively develop and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors and key
customer decision makers and influencers (for national clients and clients with
primarily national decision makers) in order to achieve the Departments short term
and long-term objectives in terms of business growth and development.
Ownership of targeting/developing key customers business in UAE and KSA.
Interacts with numerous stakeholders, suppliers and vendors internally and
externally, with the purpose to drive value and profitable growth with our land
freight customers. Develop, Manage and Expand our Clients Land transport product
profitably to establish our Client as a land transport provider of significance in GCC
region. Structure, Procure and Price and Land transport services and manage
the end to end operational setup for both Our Client owned and outsourced land
transport providers, to deliver best in class service, and cost efficient trucking in
Qatar and the region.

VP - Commercial / Procurement / Senior Managers/ Product managers -
Freight / Senior Manager - Warehousing & Distribution - Report on operational
performance, suggested solutions, new services, transport operations trends,
risks, opportunities
Corporate Finance Manager - Ensure financial data is accurate, timely and in
accordance with company policies. Develop reporting systems to identify and
capture key revenue and expense streams
Procurement- Prepare RFQ,RFP And Any Other Documentation Required To
procure operating equipment and consumables. Participate in/advice to Tender
Committees on all submissions for procurement
HSEQ - Develop and ensure compliance to a regulated HSE & Quality system
Legal - Confirmation of contractual and legal obligations. Renewal of contracts
and development of appropriate terms and conditions.
External Communication & Purpose:
Contractors - Manage subcontractors, negotiation of service levels and
adherence to SLAs
3rd Party Carriers/Freight Forwarders - Manage external parties, negotiation of
service levels and adherence to SLAs
Customs Clearance - Liaise with customs clearance teams over flow of
shipment, provide pre-alerts
