As a Restaurant Supervisor you will be managing the everyday operations of the venue, from overseeing the entire restaurant team to serving guests and driving best-in-class standards.
As a Restaurant Supervisor, (Some of) What you will be doing:
- Supervising the restaurant when the Assistant Restaurant Manager is not present, in accordance with brand values to achieve company-set objectives.
- Supervise appropriate inventory & cost of goods control completing daily / weekly / monthly sales reports.
- Train, develop & monitor all team members to ensure consistent demonstration of required guest service standards.
- Set goals with team members prior to each shift and ensure well run shifts all day, every day.
- Help the Assistant Restaurant Manager conduct team member evaluations and appraisals as per the company standards.
- Supervise & direct Legends to ensure all trainees are receiving proper training.
- Spend time before, during & after each shift with all new team members training within the restaurant.
- Maintain proper staffing and scheduling to ensure quality guest service and within the staffing budget.
- Respond immediately to maintenance or cleanliness problems throughout each shift.
- Ensure sanitation requirements are adhered to by all team members.
- Notify the maintenance team to repair any broken restaurant equipment.
- Serves as a role model and sets a positive example for the entire team in all aspects of business and personnel management.
- Ensure food meets specifications on presentation and recipe.
- Ensure food is served in a timely manner as per Franchise/Restaurant requirements.
- Model excellent hospitality within the team by demonstrating the desired behavior of guest interaction.
- Properly represent the restaurant in all dealings with the public & our guests.
- Inform Restaurant and Assistant Restaurant Manager of any situation that may adversely affect the ongoing day to day or long term operations of the restaurant.
- Immediately communicate to Team Members any changes in Policy or Procedure & any directives from the company.
