Construction Division Manager Inlet Facilities

Our client, a major LNG operator in Qatar, requires a Construction Division Manager for an Onshore project on a 3-year renewal contract basis.


Reporting to the Project Site Manager. Six to seven (6-7) construction discipline superintendent positions reporting directly to Construction Division Manager during EPC construction execution phase, with fifteen to twenty (15-20) additional work discipline supervisors supporting the construction phases of LNG EPC areas.


The Main Accountabilities Are


  • Responsible for guiding EPC Construction efforts of 5-10,000 workers during EPC construction activities at Site .
  • Responsible and accountable for all construction activities pertaining to the assigned scope of EPC works (Inlet Facilities) for the PROJECT On plot from ITT preparation/finalization, detailed engineering through construction activities at Site to hand-over to the Completion Team in accordance with the Completion Sequence.
  • First located at PMT offices for a period of about 6 months, then on Site to supervise the execution of EPC packages ensuring flawless transition with the pre-commissioning activities.
  • Reports to the PROJECT Site Manager and will have full delegation to undertake all works, activities and coordination pertaining to construction.
  • Interacts directly with counterparts at EPC Contractor on the premise that both COMPANY and EPC Contractor organizations are “mirroring”.
  • Coordinates and manages activities for assigned Area with Division/Area Project Manager(s), Engineering, Commissioning and Completion teams for key activities such as: 3D Model Reviews, Constructability and Traffic Reviews, Completion Sequence, Advanced Work Packaging.
  • Coordinates and interacts with the Head of Planning or Planning and Schedule Specialist to keep a close control on the schedule and key Project and Progress Milestones


Suitable candidates will require a technical background as a discipline engineer and experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, Construction Superintendent or Manager with solid Project Execution experience.


  • More than twenty-five (25) years in Project Execution, with a strong background in fabrication, construction and management of large green field construction activities.
  • Proven experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) methodology and systems completion management and associated databases.
  • Experience with multi-cultural type Projects.
  • Experience with LNG Projects.


On offer is a competitive daily rate with monthly living and transport allowances on a 12 x 2 weeks rotation schedule with flights provided. Married status option also available
