Position contingent upon contract award.
Must be experienced working with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Visual Basic, and building information modeling software of which one (1) year shall have been working on AutoCAD/Auto CAD Civil 3D 2012/GIS. Must have experience working with architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical designs, must be knowledgeable of engineering tables, plans, and specifications, and must have working knowledge of computer networks. The CAD draftsperson must have basic understanding of ESRI® software products. Additionally, the CAD draftsperson shall be capable of creating or updating space usage information contained in S-Files.
Essential Job Functions
- Complete design drawings for all projects
- Shall provide complete design assistance services including preparation of architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical designs drawings and water/sewer designs drawings based on existing local utilities
- Shall compile and integrate work of other disciplines.
- Shall have familiarity with all tools and techniques of survey to include: differential leveling, Engineering Data Management/Data Collectors, and GPS equipment usage (preferably Trimble equipment) and associated download software.
- Shall have a full working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 and ESRI Arc Map/Arc Editor plus Microsoft office products
- Shall be capable of creating or updating space usage information contained in S-Files.
Education & Experience: (or equivalent)
AS or Technical Diploma in AutoCAD and Surveying and mapping with three (3) years’ experience of the practical of engineering science and technology
License & Certifications:
Hold a Registered Professional Land Surveyor License from any United States State Survey Board of Licensure and have experience in all phases of Surveying and Mapping Must have a minimum of 2 years of project management experience
Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience and understanding of construction safety program.
- Project or area management experience in international locations and diverse cultural environments is recommended.
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, co-workers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
- Good knowledge and experience on project design, engineering, procurement, material management, construction, commissioning, start up, turn over work processes, sequencing, and interfaces.
- Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project) to effectively schedule and communicate all aspects of project requirements.
- Knowledge of the Air Force Information Management System is desired
TRAVEL: 100%, in deployed location.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
