Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced UPS Engineer to join our team. The UPS Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of UPS systems for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Electrical engineering, with expertise in 1Phase and 3Phase UPS systems and power distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Design UPS systems tailored to client specifications, considering power requirements, load capacities, redundancy needs, and backup time requirements.

·      Coordinate and oversee the installation of UPS systems, ensuring proper setup and integration with existing power infrastructure.

·      Conduct regular maintenance checks on UPS systems, inspecting batteries, capacitors, inverters, and other components for signs of wear, damage, or malfunction.

·      Perform routine tests to verify system functionality and identify potential issues.

·      Diagnose and troubleshoot UPS system failures or malfunctions, implementing necessary repairs or adjustments.

·      Maintain detailed documentation of UPS installations, configurations, maintenance activities, and repairs.

·      Provide technical support to clients or internal teams regarding UPS systems, including system setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.

·      Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to UPS systems.

·      Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards in all aspects of UPS system installation and maintenance.

Qualifications:

·      Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical /Electronic Engineering.

·      Minimum of 8+ years of experience in designing, installing, and maintaining UPS systems.

·      Proficiency in 1Phase and 3Phase UPS system design and Service software tools.

·      Strong technical knowledge of power distribution systems, electrical components, and related equipment.

·      Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose complex electrical issues.

·      Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

·      Detail-oriented with a focus on documentation and reporting.

·      Preferred Experience with EATON, SCHNEIDER, VERTIV Brands.
