Job Title : Lead Environment Project
Contract : 6 Months Only
Qualifications & Experience Required
- B.Sc. degree in engineering discipline or Environmental Science with preferably an advanced master’s degree from an accredited university in related science or engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years professional experience in an environment compliance team in an operational setting (preferably 10 to 15 years hands on experience in oil and gas industry projects).
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of local environmental legislation.
- Strong understanding of ISO 14001 EMS, preferably with experience of system auditing and implementation
- Good understanding of International best practices and standards e.g. IFC, IPIECA
- Demonstrated ability to develop long range goals, strategies and plans and ultimately implement such plans to successful completion.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities in the supervision of highly qualified technical personnel
- Experience with common office environment software, data base and computer technology.
- Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong report writing and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills {English}
- Understanding of financial management, expenditure approval and tendering processes including good business principles.
- Demonstrate high standards for ethics and integrity and relate these to HSE-Q programs.
