The Accounts Receivables Officer manages incoming payments, properly tracking them into the system to maintain accurate bookkeeping records. The ideal candidate has an experience in a manufacturing environment, in cost accounting, a good general ERP knowledge and ensures books are accurate and timely, as well as in compliance with Qatar and MASQ internal policies.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Maintaining bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets and updating information as needed
· Communicating with previous clients and customers to request payment and arrange payment plans
· Collecting payments from customers and accurately recording them in the system
· Creating reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses
· Updating client accounts based on payment or contact information
· Invoice orders in accounting software for multiple companies
· Posts customer payments by recording cash, cheques, wires, and credit card transactions
· Resolves valid or unauthorized deductions by entering , adjusting entries/ credit memos
· Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deduction procedures
· Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line and making collection calls
- Liaise with colleagues from other branches in Qatar & Lebanon to give support on assigned tasks
- Accomplish & execute any other tasks assigned by the chief accountant
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant financial experience in a multinational environment with at least 2 years in similar role.
- Good knowledge of Qatar statutory requirements and as well as direct and indirect tax
- Advanced Excel skills and strong general understanding of ERP systems required
- Must be able to meet the deadline for month-end close and year-end close.

- Driven, able to work independently in an efficient manner and keen to take on new responsibilities
- Pro-active, team player oriented, reliable, and hands-on approach
- Willingness and ability to recognize and adapt to changing business requirements
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both verbal and written
