At EPAM, we’re looking for an experienced Technical Consultant Oracle ERP to join our dynamic team and work closely with a prestigious client of ours, an international company based in Qatar. As a Technical Consultant, you will collaborate with our client to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical design specifications. You will work closely with project teams to develop and customize Oracle e-Business Suite applications, ensuring the seamless integration of Oracle ERP solutions into their business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Gather business requirements: Understand client needs and translate them into technical design specifications for Oracle e-Business Suite applications
  • Develop customized applications: Utilize Oracle development tools to create tailored extensions, interfaces, reports, and workflows
  • Configure and optimize applications: Set up Oracle e-Business Suite applications for optimal functionality and usability
  • Perform system testing and troubleshooting: Ensure performance, functionality, and integrity of Oracle e-Business Suite applications
  • Conduct data conversions and migrations: Seamlessly transfer and maintain data integrity from legacy systems
  • Provide technical guidance and support: Assist clients and users with utilizing Oracle e-Business Suite applications and resolving technical issues
  • Collaborate with functional consultants: Align technical solutions with business requirements and objectives
  • Ensure security and data governance: Implement measures for data confidentiality, integrity, and availability

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Oracle e-Business Suite Technical Consultant, with a strong track record of implementing and customizing Oracle e-Business Suite applications
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle e-Business Suite R12 or higher, with in-depth knowledge of Oracle Financials, Supply Chain Management, Human Capital Management, or other relevant modules
  • Extensive experience with Oracle development tools and technologies, including Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF)
  • Proficiency in application configuration and setup, including concurrent programs, flexfields, and menus
  • Solid understanding of Oracle database concepts, SQL, and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with data conversions, interfaces, and data migration processes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, end-users, and project teams
  • Oracle certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Application Developer (OCP), are a plus

Additional

  • You will be working on site, from our client's office in Doha
  • The working schedule is 5 days a week, from Sunday to Thursday (In Qatar, weekend is Friday to Saturday)
  • Formal business attire is required
