We are hiring a production coordinator than can oversee the fabrication and buildup of projects, and play a pivotal role in orchestrating the various elements involved in producing custom displays, booths, and installations for events and exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules, coordinating activities with design, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Resource Coordination: Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors required for manufacturing and assembly. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met.
- Budget Management: Assist in budget planning and tracking expenditures throughout the production process. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or client expectations.
- Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing inquiries, and managing expectations. Ensure clear and effective communication between clients and internal teams.
- Logistical Planning: Coordinate logistics for transportation, storage, and installation of finished products at event venues. Arrange for permits, site surveys, and other necessary documentation as required.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of project specifications, contracts, and correspondence. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- Problem Resolution: Anticipate and mitigate potential issues that may arise during production, finding practical solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Address any quality control concerns promptly.
- On-Site Support: Provide on-site support during installation and dismantling of exhibits at event venues, ensuring smooth execution and resolving any logistical challenges that may arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, manufacturing engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in event production, exhibition design, or manufacturing coordination.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and fabrication techniques.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate event schedules.
Additional Requirements:
- Familiarity with CAD software and other design tools is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Adherence to company policies and procedures, with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
