Position Purpose Summary:
The QA Lead will define and implement testing strategy that will assess the software quality of our digital products. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. You will be part of a team that launches industry leading OTT products and is passionate about quality. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, apps and systems work correctly.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Define test strategy based on agile ceremonies and implement it across the organization
- Implement test strategy and coordinate all activities related to testing with internal team and 3rd party vendors
- Perform monitoring and control tasks, including project metrics, status reports, and sign-off
- Handle and communicate product and project risks, suggest and implement mitigation and/or contingency plans
- Put in place a process to collect, triage, and track test and bug reports from manual testers and the customer care team
- Lead the effort to build and evolve automated regression test suite
- Support continuous improvement process with a specific focus on QA-related practices, tools, and processes in the software delivery lifecycle and overall agile process
- Train and supervise test teams of external providers
- Coordinate different types of testing teams (manual, automation, performance, etc.)
- Coordinate the testing activities for the editorial platform across all the regions
- Build the automation framework for the editorial platform and the iOS, Android apps. For the validation and sign off of the features during the sprints and also monitoring of non-functional KPIs
