Position: Head of ALM and FTP Risk

Job Summary:

• You will be responsible for the strategic management and control of Asset and Liability Management (ALM).
• Take responsibility for the definition, development and implementation of ALM and FTP methodologies, measurement tools, systems, processes, and reporting across the group. The governance of ALM, including policy setting and approvals.
• Ensure the limit framework is comprehensive and limits are appropriately set. Ensure monitoring activities are conducted in a robust and suitably frequent manner and limit breaches are escalated on a timely basis.
• Conducting, interpreting and presenting liquidity and interest rate gap analyses to a senior audience, including Group ALCO.
• Driving the implementation and enhancement of the banks ALM systems.
• Take responsibility for ensuring the configuration of the system is appropriate. Ensure reporting is delivered in a timely and robust manner and that report configuration is optimised to best serve the goals of the risk department and needs of other key users.

Job Requirements:

• University graduate preferably with a Major in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology (related field of study).
• At least 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank and 4 years in a managerial capacity in ALM related function.
• Professional qualification e.g. ACA, CIMA a strong advantage.
• Professional certification such as FRM or CFA etc. is an essential
