The Product Specialist is responsible to make sure the success of product/s during the complete product life cycle of assigned products, including the market analysis, Launch, comparative study, Product pricing, inventory management , Pre & post-sales support etc , It also include up-selling with complementary products, Solutions & accessories. Assure Vendor guideline compliance to achieve the best product results in market and also work as focal point for any technical or commercial matters, escalations. Fully engaged and available for major/complex business proposals preparations or customer demonstrations. Conduct periodical workshops/trainings to keep the team up to date with latest product developments/market trends.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrating proper technical knowledge on the job. Work as technology mentor to the pre and post sales teams. Assure the efficient inventory holding based on sales trends and product life cycle
  • Sales funnel management and future ordering for HW/SW. As industry expert lead negotiations, complex deals, proposal improvements, product demonstrations.
  • Work as focal point between vendor and sales teams
  • A product expert support the teams, maintain all documentations, guides, related drivers, manuals etc.
  • Supplier focal point and interface for compliance with policies/procedures. Ensure product success and customer satisfaction
  • Assist teams for complex problem resolution or escalation to principal, works intensively for sales team enablement for value added and complex sales.
  • Lead complex projects and proposals, demonstrations. Applies industry knowledge to capture relevant industry patterns/trends and share insights gleaned to assist offering development, sales efforts and facilitate customer conversations.
  • Provide recommendations to advance growth opportunities from strategy to commercialization, including technology & solutions, processes, metrics, etc.
  • Applies extensive industry expertise and collaborate across teams and understand their approaches and solutions to weave a true digital strategy for clients as needed
  • Conduct workshops/trainings as required minimum once a month for sales/services team with latest product updates. Assure up skill the team with latest solutions/products, competitive analysis Participate in weekly/periodic sales meetings and maintain collective sales funnel.
  • Analyse market trends, study competition strategies, Monitor product movement life cycle, handle ordering. Maintain latest sales pricing and promotions, Plan and execute product launch events, road shows etc.
  • Prepare competitive study for product performance and success stories. Actively engage large/key accounts for the detailed needs assessment and value added offering.
  • Reporting to Sales Manager


JOB REQUIREMENT


  • IT/Engineering degree/3-year engineering diploma related courses
  • Must have vendor/OEM trainings & hands on Experience with relevant products like Canon, Kyocera, HP, Konica Minolta, Xerox, Ricoh etc.
  • Hands on must experience with Digital document/printing solutions(YSoft/Nuance/Laser fish/ Docuware/Open text/Print fleet/Fleet Admin pro etc. interfacing, configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the technical/ Presales as expert in similar industry (MPS)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability in preparing, conducting workshops/presentations.
  • Strong analytics expertise, excellent report writing skills & Industry/Market up to date trends.
