PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Manage and lead all activities relating to all Industrial Telecom systems covering conceptual design (ESR) facilities

modification (FMP), engineering (detail engineering, FEED and EPC), ensuring alignment to any modification goals and

coordinate to supervise the implementation of changes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as technical Authority for Dolphin Upstream Telecom systems and ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of Telecommunication engineering (both ESR and FMP phases) to Dolphin upstream facilities in Ras Laffan and offshore.

2) Identify opportunities and requirements for improved plant Industrial Telecom mobile and fixed systems, including Public Address System, CCTV, Radio System, Telephone, Fibre Optic, Microwave systems, Access control etc.

3) Ensure provision of effective technical, engineering and reliability support in areas of Public Address System,

CCTV, Radio System, Telephone, Fibre Optic, Microwave systems, Access Control etc.. including system networks and interfaces.

4) Develop in coordination with line manager ESR/FMP budgets and support to Investigate and address any variances to ensure effective cost control and review performance.

5) In charge of technical design and review for all Telecom Projects under TSU and leads efforts to Monitor and follow up the progress on all Industrial Telecommunication projects including preparation and finalization of SOR, work scope, tendering, bid evaluation, contract specification, negotiation, and award. Liaise closely with Projects Development and TS Business Support team for tendering process and execution planning and support.

6) Lead ESR development, FMP Development, Detail Engineering development, and or Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and EPC engineering documents, testing, and participate in pre-commissioning, and commissioning as needed and required to ensure compliance with specified technical requirements and liaise closely with Project team to discuss and resolve related matters.

7) Participate in costing and preparation of budgets for telecom engineering projects. Prepare business case studies and techno economic justifications for high value modification projects. Prepare approval for expenditure forms for CAPEX projects.

8) Ensure effective commissioning and acceptance testing of newly installed systems, and applications and review Industrial Telecom systems technical design and configuration as required.

9) Coordinate with vendors to ensure best design, and customization to meet specific Dolphin GS codes requirements, local regulation requirements, industry best practices and Operation requirements.

10) Ensure full visibility of latest industry trends in relations to use of latest technological solutions, automation and digitalization, of Dolphin upstream telecom systems aimed at reducing efforts, reducing risks, automating decision making and reducing cost

11) Perform other similar or related duties as assigned by Senior Manager Engineering services.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Minimum Educational Requirements

Minimum Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Systems Engineering, Telecommunication.

Recognized certifications in Information Systems/Telecommunication/ Networks would be an advantage.

Minimum Experience:

• 6 Years relevant experience in Telecommunications preferably in Oil & Gas operations.
