We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Global Operations team in Qatar, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.
In this role, you will:
- Support the Operations Manager and contribute to the regular day to day operational responsibilities of the Banking Operations team
- Quarterly review of Dormant Account, Unclaimed Account, Unclaimed Balances for 10yrs transfers to GAMA …etc
- Support in QCB Secret Numbers Request
- Manage and controls the operations of the Filing Team including the annual reconciliation of active accounts,
- The necessity to multi-task and work within tight schedules in delivering tasks
- Necessity to work after office hours when needed
- Manage Credit Bureau Instruction for Retail Banking and Wholesale Banking
- Support the Operations Manager in Projects/Clean-ups/ Testings/ remediation
- Daily monitoring of Blocked Customer accounts & Liaising with the Branch
- Closed account packets to be arranged for Archival after Officer Signoff and unclaimed packets to be filed in Unclaimed Chubb after Manager Signoff.
- CRS rejection letters & FATCA Exception Letters- Printing and Dispatching
- Services - Special instructions - Salary allocation instruction received from MOI, MOL AND GAMA (Maintenance)
- Supporting in the Legal order process
- Maintain operational excellence to meet needs of Banking Operations, Customers and Branches
- Deliver the highest standards of customer service.
- Awareness of operational risk associated with the role and the action to be taken to minimize the likelihood of operational risk occurring including risk identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum Educational Qualification of a Bachelor Degree in finance, accountancy, business management
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience in an Operational role
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English is required
