Job summary/Role description
The HSE Administrator supports the Health, Safety, and Environment team by managing safety documentation, coordinating training sessions, and maintaining compliance records. This role involves assisting with incident reporting, risk assessments, and regulatory audits to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for promoting effective safety practices across the organization.
Duties and responsibilities
- Maintain and organize all HSE-related documentation, including training records, incident reports, safety certifications, and inspection logs.
- Ensure that all records are up-to-date, accessible, and comply with regulatory and company standards.
- Schedule and coordinate safety training sessions, inductions, and refreshers for employees, contractors, and site visitors.
- Track training completion and certification renewal, ensuring all personnel meet HSE training requirements.
- Assist in documenting and reporting accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
- Support HSE team members during investigations, gathering evidence, and maintaining detailed records of findings and corrective actions.
- Help conduct routine audits and inspections to ensure site adherence to HSE policies and relevant regulatory standards.
- Work with the HSE team to address and resolve any non-compliance issues identified during inspections.
- Support the HSE team in performing risk assessments and hazard identifications for various job activities and processes on-site.
- Track the implementation of safety measures and corrective actions to reduce potential risks.
- Monitor and manage inventory of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure that PPE is available, distributed, and used correctly.
- Report any PPE deficiencies or issues to the HSE team to prevent potential safety hazards.
- Act as a point of contact for HSE-related inquiries and concerns from employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Participate in emergency drills and training sessions, helping to prepare for and respond to emergency situations effectively.
- Ensure all activities and documentation align with local and international HSE regulations as well as company policies.
Person Specification
Knowledge & Qualifications
University degree or diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.
Experience
- Significant experience in the industrial construction of large or XL gas plants.
- Covered a similar role in at least 2-3 projects of comparable size.
- A minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience.
