Overview

The PMO Office is looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our Monitoring Department. This role is crucial for overseeing project progress, ensuring alignment with organizational and national goals, and facilitating effective communication across departments.

The Project Manager will manage project timelines, track key performance indicators, and ensure successful project completion in alignment with Qatar’s development vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Develop and implement project plans aligned with organizational goals, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource needs.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track project milestones, KPIs, and deliverables, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within scope.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify and address project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating as needed to maintain project continuity.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a liaison between teams, departments, and external stakeholders to ensure effective project execution and clear communication of expectations.
• Continuous Improvement: Apply best practices in project management and process improvement, enhancing the efficiency of the Monitoring & Follow-Up Department.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Project Management, preferably within a PMO or structured environment.
• Language Skills: Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in project management tools.
• Strong analytical skills for monitoring project metrics and KPIs.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in monitoring and follow-up functions within a PMO or large organization.
• Understanding of Qatar’s national development plans and initiatives.
• Familiarity with KPI tracking, risk management, and process improvement.
