Job Title: Safety Supervisor (Indonesian National)

Location: Qatar

Start Date: Immediate


We are currently seeking a Safety Supervisor in Qatar. The ideal candidate must be Indonesian, fluent in both English and Bahasa, and available to join immediately.


Key Requirements:

  • Nationality: Indonesian
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Bahasa
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Safety Supervisor in the construction industry is essential
  • Availability: Must be able to join immediately


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification of a minimum one-year duration in Occupational Health & Safety or NEBOSH Diploma.
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the Construction / Oil & Gas industry.
  • Oversight of Safety Practices: Monitor and enforce safety protocols and standards on-site to ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Safety Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular and thorough safety inspections of the worksite to identify hazards, ensuring that all safety measures are in place and adhered to.
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate and analyze potential risks in the workplace, developing strategies to mitigate those risks and improve safety.
  • Training and Development: Lead and facilitate safety training sessions for employees and subcontractors, ensuring they understand safety procedures and best practices.
  • Accident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed safety reports and documentation, maintaining accurate records of inspections, training sessions, and incident investigations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to integrate safety practices into project planning and execution.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, conducting drills and training to ensure readiness for any potential incidents.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry safety trends, regulations, and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance safety performance.
  • Complete administrative work, as when required.
  • Any other tasks/duties as assigned by line manager.
