The Head of Government Consultancy Services will lead the expansion of consultancy services for government clients in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Collaborate with joint venture partners in Qatar to establish connections with key government contacts and decision-makers.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior government officials and stakeholders to secure long-term contracts and partnerships.
- Identify and secure multi-year contracts with governments and municipalities.
Project Management:
- Oversee the execution of key government contracts, ensuring financial objectives are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sustainable growth and profitability in the government consultancy sector in Qatar.
- Enhance market position, staying competitive against both local and multinational professional services firms.
Financial Management:
- Meet financial targets, focusing on revenue growth and achieving above-average AOP margins by securing multi-year, multimillion-dollar contracts.
- Ensure sustainable contributions from government consultancy projects to the financial performance of the Qatar entity by diversifying the project portfolio.
Experience:
- 10+ Years of Experience: The candidate should have at least 10 years of relevant experience, with a substantial portion of that time spent in senior leadership roles within consultancy – Especially valuable if related to Government, public sector management, or related fields.
- Significant Local Experience: A deep understanding of the Qatar market is essential. This includes experience in managing large-scale projects, dealing with government entities, and thriving within the regional business culture.
- Fluency in Arabic is essential for this role.
