Business Development and Sales Manager

Key Accountabilities


  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's presence in the Qatar market, with a focus on the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and clients to achieve revenue targets and market growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and potential clients.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive activities, providing insights for business decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of services, addressing client requirements and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present proposals, bids, and contracts to prospective clients, negotiating terms and agreements to secure business opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by consistently identifying and closing new business deals, managing the sales pipeline, and converting leads into sales.
  • Track and report sales performance against targets, analysing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that align with the overall business development objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach to market expansion.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and retention rates, taking proactive steps to address issues and enhance the overall client experience.
  • Keep abreast of industry regulations, standards, and best practices, ensuring compliance and alignment with company policies.
  • Achieve the revenue and sales objectives within specified timeframes, driving growth in key market segments.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, market trends, and client feedback to senior management.
  • Lead the sales and bidding team, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure that the team meets and exceeds sales targets and successfully wins bids.



Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10 -12 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and sales in Qatar, particularly within the TIC sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Qatari business landscape.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Mandatory fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic highly desirable.
