Essential Duties and Responsibilities
▪ Works in the station with Waiter and co-ordinates service of Food & Beverage to the guests from
the Kitchen and the Bar
▪ Learns daily specials, non-available items and familiarizes himself with the preparation of dishes
in the menu
▪ Ensures orders are updated in the Check, in order to provide fast and efficient service of Food and
Beverage
▪ Replenishes water glasses and clears tables after guests have finished their meals
▪ Sorts dirty dishes methodically and carries them to the dishwashing area in order to avoid
breakages
▪ Ensures proper handling of equipment
▪ Replenishes supply of clean linen, glassware, chinaware, cutlery, in service station
▪ Ensures condiments and sauces, sugar bowls are readily available for service in the station
▪ Replenishes supply of butter if applicable
▪ Transfers food and drinks from the Kitchen and Bar to the service station
▪ Cleans and polishes equipment such as glassware, chinaware, cutlery and any other equipment
that may be required
▪ Obtains requisitioned groceries/general items and beverage from the Stores
▪ Assists Waiter in providing professional service to guests in the station/section
▪ Reports for Banquet overtime punctually whenever required

▪ Responsible for cleanliness of all equipment
▪ Ensures schedule of silver polishing is maintained
▪ To be polite, courteous and efficient while dealing with guests at all times
▪ Checks flowers on tables and ensures replenishment of same when required
▪ Ensures Coffee and Tea mise-en-place is ready at all times
▪ Ensures opening and closing Checklist is followed
▪ Familiarizes with cashiering procedures and understands Micros operation
