Sleep Comfort is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our team in Beirut, Lebanon. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably in a Lebanese company or with knowledge of Lebanese accounting practices.

Responsibilities:

General Ledger Management: Assist in maintaining and reconciling the general ledger accounts. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process vendor invoices, prepare payments, and reconcile accounts payable transactions. Monitor accounts receivable aging, follow up on outstanding invoices, and prepare customer statements.

Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Tax Compliance: Assist in tax compliance activities, including VAT filings and other regulatory requirements.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting roles.
Strong understanding of Lebanese accounting principles and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
