IT Administrator

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a highly skilled IT Administrator to manage and maintain the network infrastructure and provide comprehensive application support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration, coupled with experience in application support and business analysis. Additionally, the ability to coordinate development projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be a significant advantage.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Monitor network performance and security, implementing necessary upgrades and patches to maintain stability and protect against cyber threats.
  • Administer and support various business-critical applications, including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct business analysis to identify areas for improvement and streamline processes through technology.
  • Coordinate development projects, working closely with developers, engineers, and other IT professionals to ensure successful implementation and integration.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to network and application configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for enhancements and optimizations.


Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in network administration, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in administering and supporting business applications, such as ERP systems, CRM software, and collaboration tools.
  • Experience with business analysis techniques, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
